Design to Be (D2B) began in 1998 with a simple mission: to help architects and designers transform ideas into precise digital drawings. At the time, computer-aided design was rapidly evolving, and we focused on providing high-quality CAD drafting services that allowed professionals to move their projects from concept to construction with greater efficiency.
As technology evolved, so did our company. We expanded beyond drafting services and began offering professional training in AutoCAD and technical drawing. Through education, we helped students, architects, engineers, and designers develop the technical skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital design world.
Over the years, one principle remained constant: design is not just about creating visuals — it is about enabling possibilities.
Our name and acronym reflect this philosophy.
D2B stands for Design to Business, inspired by the well-known concept B2B (Business to Business). We believe that design, technology, and digital tools should not exist only for aesthetics — they should help people create real opportunities, build businesses, and share ideas with the world.
But D2B also carries a deeper meaning for us: “to be, to become, to believe.”
It represents the journey of transforming ideas into reality — helping creators, entrepreneurs, and organizations evolve and believe in new possibilities.
During the global pandemic, businesses around the world needed new ways to stay visible and connected with their audiences. In response, we began offering Google Street View virtual tours, allowing businesses to present the inside of their locations directly within Google Maps.
These immersive tours gave visitors the ability to explore real spaces remotely, helping businesses remain open to the world even when physical visits were limited.
This experience led us to expand the concept further into Virtual Fairs.
A virtual fair is similar to a large-scale interactive virtual tour where multiple exhibitors can present products, services, or experiences within a shared digital environment. Visitors can navigate through spaces, discover content, and interact with different exhibitors in a way that goes far beyond traditional websites.
These environments can also host entirely new kinds of experiences. For example, a music-themed fair could feature artists performing in 360-degree video with immersive spatial audio, creating performances that audiences can explore from anywhere in the world.
Today, D2B continues to explore new ways to combine technology, creativity, and immersive media. We are actively developing concepts that integrate virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI) to create richer and more engaging digital environments.
We believe that immersive digital spaces will become an important layer of how people learn, connect, showcase ideas, and do business.
Our goal is to help shape that future — one experience at a time.
Stay tuned. The journey is just beginning.
